India, Oct. 26 -- Central government employees and pensioners are waiting for the Center announcement about the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for July 2026. As of October 26 the government has not made the latest increase official. The new rates are still not confirmed. People are now looking at October 28 which is said to be a day for the next Union Cabinet meeting.. There is no official word that the meeting will happen on that day or that the DA increase will be approved then. Employees and pensioners will have to wait for a message, from the government.
