India, Sept. 12 -- Chennai Power Cut (September 15): Several areas of Chennai are set to witness a scheduled power outage on September 15 as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) carries out maintenance and repair work. Residents in the affected areas have been advised to plan their day accordingly and take necessary precautions during the scheduled power interruption.

According to TANGEDCO, most of the areas on the list will experience a five-hour power cut from 9 am to 2 pm. However, electricity supply could be restored before the scheduled time in some locations depending on the progress of the maintenance work.
