India, April 26 -- Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla has witnessed a solid surge in its second weekend run. On Day 9 (second Saturday), the film earned Rs.10.75 crore net, pushing its total India net collection to Rs.100.90 crore and officially crossing the Rs.100 crore milestone.

Weekend Recovery After Slow Friday

The film had slowed down on Day 8 (second Friday), collecting Rs.5.75 crore net. However, it bounced back strongly on Saturday with nearly double the earnings.

Day 9 gross collection reached Rs.12.90 crore, while theatre occupancy improved to around 22% across 9,266 shows.
