India, Aug. 17 -- Krafton India has officially confirmed that Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite (BGMI Lite) is coming to India. The lighter version of the popular battle royale game is scheduled to launch by the end of 2026, giving players on a wider range of smartphones another way to access the BGMI experience.

The announcement is particularly significant for users with budget or older smartphones that may struggle to run the standard version of BGMI smoothly.
