Senior BJP leaders and central observers are expected to attend the crucial meeting as the party prepares to form the government for a third straight term in the state.
Incumbent Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is widely expected to be elected as the leader of the BJP legislature party and return as Chief Minister for a second consecutive term following the NDA's massive victory in the Assam Assembly Elections 2026.
