India, Sept. 6 -- Aja Ekadashi, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, will be observed on Monday, September 7, 2026. According to the New Delhi-based Panchang calculation, the Ekadashi Tithi begins on September 6 and ends on September 7. Devotees observe the vrat with prayers, meditation and religious rituals.

Aja Ekadashi falls on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. In 2026, the vrat will be observed on September 7, Monday. Drik Panchang also lists September 7 as Aja Ekadashi for New Delhi.

Devotees generally dedicate the day to Lord Vishnu and follow fasting and prayer rituals according to their family and regional traditions.
