India, Oct. 5 -- Updated guidelines by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for updates to the demographic details of Aadhaar include updates regarding name and date of birth (DoB). The authority released an updated SOP regarding name updates on September 18, 2026, whereas the framework for DoB update currently being followed is as per the SOP released in December 2025. Moreover, UIDAI also posted a corrigendum for the annexure of the DoB SOP on September 28, 2026.
