India, Aug. 28 -- 8th Pay Commission Latest News: 8th Pay Commission is holding discussions with central government employees, pensioners, trade unions and others regarding pay revisions. The commission which was constituted on November 3, 2025 is now collecting views related to salary revision, allowance, pension and others. As of late August 2026, there has been no announcement of fitment factor and minimum salary revision. Some organizations of employees and pensioners have forwarded their demands for the increase in the fitment factor. The figures given here are demands and not an official announcement by 8th Pay Commission.
