Nigeria, June 2 -- NiMet said northern states will start the day sunny with patches of clouds, while Borno, Taraba, and Adamawa will experience thunderstorms with light rains in the morning.

By afternoon and evening, moderate thunderstorms with rain are expected to spread across Borno, Yobe, Jigawa, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna, Katsina, and Kano, with warm and humid conditions prevailing during the day.

In central states, cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine are expected in the morning, with light rains and thunderstorms possible over Niger State and the FCT.
