Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has reaffirmed the university management's commitment to securing a swift and peaceful resolution to the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Liman gave the assurance when she received a delegation of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), led by Comrade Asma'u Idris Omeiza, at the Council Chamber of the university.

The meeting focused on the impact of the prolonged strike on students and other stakeholders, as well as possible ways of facilitating its resolution and ensuring the resumption of academic activities.
