Bangladesh, Sept. 15 -- Barrister Rumin Farhana, an independently elected member of parliament from Brahmanbaria-2 constituency, has complained to the High Court against Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Nazrul Islam Choton for making a Facebook post referring to her as "Lady Mir Jafar."
She made the complaint before a High Court bench comprising Justice Kazi Md Ijarul Haque Akanda and Justice Nasrin Akter on Monday,
Barrister Rumin Farhana was the lawyer for a case listed at serial No. 36 in the day's cause list. DAG Nazrul Islam Choton was representing the state in the case.
When the case was called for hearing, Barrister Rumin Farhana came before the bench and brought the DAG's Facebook post to the court's attention.
She told the court, ...
