Bangladesh, July 1 -- Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) held its 18th Annual Senate Meeting on Tuesday at the BUP Senate Hall, with the university's Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Senate, Maj Gen Mahbub-ul Alam, presiding over the session.

At the outset of the meeting, the VC expressed appreciation to the outgoing Senate members for their contributions and welcomed the newly appointed members, reads a press release.

The senate chairman said that although BUP is a relatively young university, its students, faculty members and researchers have consistently demonstrated excellence.
