Bangladesh, July 27 -- Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Chairman Md. Azizul Islam on Saturday visited the BADC stall at the National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair in the capital, urging people to take part in the government's tree-planting initiative.

Tree plantation holds great importance in religious teachings and is widely regarded as an act of charity.

Highlighting the significance of trees, the government has taken a five-year master plan to plant 25 crore trees across the country.
