Three publishers held over J&K library book row
India, July 12 -- Three publishers have been arrested in connection with the investigation into two controversial books found in government school libraries in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
The arrests were made by the counter-intelligence unit in Jammu following operations in Jammu and Delhi. Officials said the investigation is focused on the publication and distribution of books containing "highly inappropriate content."
The three arrested are Inderpaul of Oberoi Book Service and Amardeep Singh and Girish Arora of Noida-based Dominant Publishers.
