Suspected drone recovered from a field in J&K's Samba district
India, July 14 -- A suspected unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was recovered from an agricultural field in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district on Tuesday, hours after the Army detected and jammed an unidentified flying object near the International Border, prompting security agencies to investigate whether the two incidents are connected.
The drone was found at around 5:50 am in a field near Devak by a resident of Chak Salaria who had gone out for a morning run. After spotting the object, the resident informed a nearby Army unit, following which security personnel reached the site and secured the drone.
The recovery came less than nine hours after Army personnel in the adjoining Nandpur area detected an unidentified flying object reportedly...
