India, May 14 -- Cardiologists at Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida have successfully performed Rare Advanced Renal Denervation procedure on two patients suffering from resistant hypertension, including one case complicated by hypertensive heart failure. The rare minimally invasive procedure was performed by Dr. Harnish Singh Bhatia, Consultant Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida. Resistant hypertension is a serious cardiovascular condition in which blood pressure remains dangerously high despite the use of multiple blood pressure-lowering medications at optimal doses. Such patients remain at significantly elevated risk of stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, and sudden cardiac death.
