Raids conducted at multiple Kashmir locations in UAPA case
India, June 29 -- Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday conducted raids at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley as part of an ongoing investigation into a case registered under various provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), officials said.
The searches were carried out in connection with FIR No. 07/2023, registered under Sections 153-A, 505 and 506 of the IPC, along with Sections 13, 18, 18-B and 39 of the UAPA. Officials said the raids were conducted on the basis of warrants issued by a competent court.
