Omar takes a dig at Delhi curbs: 'Kashmir Model extended'
India, Oct. 10 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday criticised the security restrictions imposed in New Delhi ahead of a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, saying the "Kashmir model" had been extended to the national capital.
"Kashmir model has been exported to Delhi. Welcome to the New Delhi, modelled on New Jammu & Kashmir," Omar wrote on X, referring to the restrictions, including a 24-hour mobile internet blockade ordered in central Delhi from 10 pm on Friday.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi, where he had attended a meeting of INDIA bloc leaders with President Droupadi Murmu, Omar questioned the fairness of the electoral process.India travel guide
