SriLanka, April 26 -- Customs officers yesterday arrested a 33-year-old man at the Bandaranaike International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle 2.025 kilograms of "Kush", with a street value of Rs. 25 million, into the country through the airport's Green Channel.
Customs sources said the suspect was arrested in the morning. He is a Colombo resident who works as a photographer.
He had arrived from Bangkok on Flight FD 140 and attempted to pass through the airport's "Green Channel", reserved for passengers with nothing to declare.
