SriLanka, March 15 -- Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath will meet Sri Lankan Ambassadors and Heads of Missions across the Middle East, including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait next week to review the safety and welfare of migrant workers amid escalating regional tensions.

The meeting will bring together Ambassadors and Consular Heads from major Middle Eastern countries to discuss migrant worker conditions, employment opportunities, contingency plans and the outlook for remittance inflow, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra told the Sunday Observer yesterday.
