Sri Lanka, Oct. 11 -- Lanka Metro Transit (LMT) is setting up a fully equipped Digital Control Room in Thalangama to strengthen the management and monitoring of Metro Bus operations in the Western Province, LMT Chairman U.T. Thilakarathna told the Sunday Observer yesterday.

The hardware required for the system has already been imported, while servers and other equipment are being installed. The Control Room is expected to be ready within six months, he said.
