Hanoi, Aug. 27 -- The group has officially announced that it successfully won the auction for the right to use three radio frequency bands in Dominica and will move quickly to build a telecommunications network using the most advanced technologies.

Dominica will be Viettel's third market in the Americas. Once operational, it will become the 11th international market in Viettel's journey of investing in and operating overseas telecommunications services.

Chairman and CEO of Viettel Group Tao Duc Thang said, the successful bid in Dominica marks a new step in Viettel's continued expansion into overseas markets.
