Hanoi, Aug. 21 -- The above information was announced by a representative of the Department of Science, Technology and Engineering under the Ministry of Science and Technology at a workshop held on August 20.
The planned investment would amount to VND500 billion (US$19.2 million) for each laboratory and VND1.5 trillion (US$57.53 million) for each testing center.
The new laboratory model, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027, will enable businesses to access research, testing and measurement capabilities to develop strategic technology products.
In addition to the laboratories, the four testing centers serving strategic technology products will support the process from research results to products and market.
