Hanoi, July 29 -- Nguyen made the above statement on Wednesday while briefing about major contents of a new resolution on blue economy adopted at the 3rd plenum of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

The 14th National Party Congress identified sea as the new growth space where new growth poles, economic sectors, and development drivers will be formulated, he said.

From that perspective, Viet Nam will prioritize the development of maritime logistics, offshore renewable energy, marine minerals exploitation, coastal urban areas, high-tech industries, marine biotechnology, and new blue economic sectors, said Nguyen.
