Hanoi, March 20 -- Pham made the point in response to reporters' inquiry regarding the USCIRF's recommendation, at the MOFA's press briefing in Ha Noi on March 19.

Viet Nam said the Spokesperson reaffirms its consistent policy of respecting and safeguarding human rights, including the right to freedom of belief and religion, as clearly enshrined in the 2013 Constitution, embedded in its legal system, and upheld in practice.

Those recommendation are unobjective, inaccurate and based on information with ill intent targeting Viet Nam, the diplomat said.
