Hanoi, Sept. 19 -- The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and the State Securities Commission, in coordination with FTSE Russell.

The conference takes place ahead of the official effective date of Viet Nam's stock market upgrade from Frontier Market to Secondary Emerging Market status under the FTSE Russell classification, effective from September 21, 2026.

This marks an important milestone in the development of Viet Nam's stock market after 30 years of establishment and growth. The market has gradually strengthened its components, legal framework, and technological infrastructure, while also improving market accessibility for both domestic and international investors.
