Hanoi, Vietnam, March 7 -- The achievement reflects the rapid growth of green building projects in the country's real estate market.

According to USGBC data, in 2025, the nation recorded 2.6 million square meters of LEED-certified floor area across 100 projects. Two years earlier, Viet Nam ranked 28th on this list.

Globally, more than 7,500 commercial projects received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification in 2025, with a combined floor area exceeding 147 million square meters.

According to the USGBC, the ranking is based on the total LEED-certified floor area each year, reflecting the scale and level of development of green building markets in each country.
