Viet Nam climbs seven spots to 52nd in WEF tourism index
Hanoi, Oct. 2 -- The country's score reached 4.15, up 6.1 percent from 2024. The index assesses the factors and policies that create the conditions for a sustainable and resilient tourism sector, rather than measuring tourism performance through indicators such as visitor arrivals, spending or revenue.
The index comprises five dimensions, 17 pillars and 102 indicators, covering the enabling environment, tourism policy and favorable conditions, infrastructure and services, travel resources, and tourism sustainability. Indicators are standardized on a scale of 1 to 7 to facilitate comparisons among economies.
