Hanoi, July 31 -- Vietnamese telecommunications companies have successfully mastered the design, production, and commercialization of 5G equipment that meets international standards. Around 2,500 5G base stations currently use equipment researched and manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises, accounting for approximately 6 percent of the total.
Viet Nam is also playing a more active role in the development of 6G - the sixth-generation wireless communications technology.
The Ministry of Science and Technology already established a 6G Steering Committee, comprising agencies responsible for telecommunications and radio frequency management, technology enterprises, and universities to proactively advance research on 6G technology.
