Hanoi, Sept. 29 -- Alongside the two national-level awards, numerous Vietnamese destinations and brands were also recognized across various categories.
The capital city of Ha Noi was named "Asia's Leading City Break Destination," while the southern metropolis Ho Chi Minh City received two titles: "Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination" and "Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination." The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism was also named "Asia's Leading Tourist Board."
Among natural and emerging destinations, Ta Xua in the northern mountainous province of Son La was named "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination," while Moc Chau in the same locality received the title of "Asia's Leading Regional Natural Destination."
