He noted with pleasure at the positive and remarkable outcomes of bilateral defense ties, especially in the fields of delegation exchange, maintenance of dialogue and consultation mechanisms, border management and protection, search for and repatriation of remains of fallen soldiers, and mutual support at multilateral forums.

Phan suggested both countries should continue to maintain the exchange of delegations at all levels and cooperation mechanisms such as the annual meeting of three defense ministers of Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia, the joint search and rescue drill of armed forces of V...
