Hanoi, June 25 -- To Lam reiterated that Viet Nam, within its capacity, stands ready to share with and back the State and people of Palestine, and advocates all efforts to seek a long-term and lasting solution to the peace process in the Middle East on the basis of the two-state solution.

The top Vietnamese leader took the occasion to congratulate Ambassador Saadi Salama, who is also head of the diplomatic corps in Viet Nam, on his successful working term in Viet Nam.

He thanked Palestinian President Palestine Mahmoud Abbas for presenting noble orders and medals to late General Vo Nguyen Giap, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, and several other Vietnamese individuals.
