Hanoi, May 28 -- The Standing Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Viet Nam highly values its cooperation with AIIB and continues to engage with the bank as a trusted and responsible member and partner.

He hailed Zou's decision to choose Viet Nam as the first country to visit after being elected as AIIB President for the 2026-2031 term.

Pham expressed confidence that AIIB would continue to grow strongly and further affirm its role as a reliable multilateral institution specializing in infrastructure.
