Jakarta, Aug. 20 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 20 August 2026, participated in a Roundtable Discussion on "ASEAN-Brazil Cooperation and Going Beyond," organised by the Embassy of Indonesia in Brasilia, during his Working Visit to Brazil. Dr. Kao delivered a Keynote Address on "ASEAN's Vision for Deepening ASEAN-Brazil Cooperation," where he took the opportunity to highlight ASEAN's priorities and initiatives, and elaborated on ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, which is ASEAN's long-term 20-year vision. Dr. Kao also exchanged views on regional and global developments with the participants of the Roundtable.
