Jakarta, July 24 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today had a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, H.E. Javier Eduardo Martinez-Acha Vasquez, in Manila, the Philippines, on the sidelines of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC). They discussed ways to enhance ASEAN-Panama cooperation in areas of mutual interests. Both sides also exchanged views on the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), taking note of its 50th anniversary this year and recalling that Panama acceded to the TAC in 2023.
