Jakarta, July 30 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Mr. John Luo, Chairman of International Business Digital Technology (IBDT), at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat, where they discussed the proposed "Hong Kong Forum on ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA): Foresight and Strategic Dialogue" (the ASEAN DEFA Preparatory Forum), as well as the central bank digital currency (CBDC) development and the regional digital-payment interconnectivity initiatives.
