Jakarta, Sept. 16 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 16 September 2026, met with H.E. Wang Hongzhi, Administrator of the National Energy Administration of China, on the sidelines of his working visit to China. They discussed advancing practical ASEAN-China cooperation on energy security, the ASEAN Power Grid, renewable energy, energy storage, cross-border power trade and emerging low-carbon technologies, in support of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
