Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a virtual meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert R. Ramdin. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the importance of multilateralism and inter-regional cooperation in promoting peace, security, stability, and sustainable development, as well as advancing shared interests in trade and investment, tourism, and other areas of mutual benefit. The two sides also discussed potential avenues for collaboration between the two Secretariats.
