Jakarta, Oct. 14 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered pre-recorded remarks at the ASEAN Conference on Women, Peace and Security, held in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, on 7 October 2026. Held under the theme "Advancing Women, Peace and Security in ASEAN: Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Localizing Peacebuilding Commitments," the Conference brought together representatives from ASEAN Sectoral Bodies, government institutions, civil society, peacebuilders and other stakeholders.
