Jakarta, Nov. 2 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered opening remarks at the "Malaysia Truly Asia: Malaysian Flavours" programme held at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. In his remarks, Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation to Malaysia for organising the initiative, highlighting the role of culinary diplomacy in celebrating cultural diversity, fostering mutual understanding, and strengthening friendship and solidarity within the ASEAN Community.
