Jakarta, Sept. 19 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered the Opening Remarks at the ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Forum via video message. In his remarks, he highlighted four key areas to advance sustainable environmental efforts in the region: expanding access to green science, technology and innovation through joint research and technology transfer; strengthening cooperation on the circular economy and green industry; enhancing green finance and investment to scale up proven solutions; and harmonising ASEAN-China trade and investment instruments with environmental and climate commitments.
