Jakarta, April 9 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today attended the interface meeting between the ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (AFMGM) and the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC), via video conference.

The Meeting discussed various initiatives to strengthen partnerships with the private sector to mobilise resources for key priority areas, including infrastructure development, financial innovation, as well as promoting responsible and safe use of artificial intelligence (AI). The Meeting also exchanged view on concrete measures to mitigate the impacts from the evolving global economic and geopolitical developments.
