Hanoi, May 14 -- In the initial phase, the center will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and system-on-a-chip (SoC) development before expanding into automotive technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), and other advanced technologies.

According to Qualcomm, the center in Ha Noi is part of the company's global R&D network, leveraging Viet Nam's tech talent and promoting collaboration with local partners.

The Vietnamese engineering team will directly participate in designing and developing new technologies, while also collaborating with Qualcomm's other engineering teams worldwide. The technology solutions developed in Viet Nam are intended to serve both domestic and international markets.
