Hanoi, Oct. 26 -- Warmly welcoming Tusk on an official visit to Viet Nam, Le affirmed that Viet Nam and Poland are traditional partners with a fine traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation spanning over more than 76 years.

Le reassured that Viet Nam always bears in mind the valuable support and assistance extended by the Government and people of Poland during the past struggle for national independence and reunification as well as the current course of national renovation and development.

He reaffirmed Viet Nam's consistent policy of advancing cooperation with traditional friends, including Poland - one of Viet Nam's top priority partners in Central and Eastern Europe.
