Hanoi, June 8 -- The two Prime Ministers expressed their pleasure at the positive growth momentum of Viet Nam-Cambodia relations over the recent past as evidenced by enhanced political trust and progress in joint border work.

Defense and security cooperation has emerged as a pillar of bilateral ties while the two-way trade increased by 9.6 percent to nearly US$5 billion in the first four months this year.

Viet Nam welcomed around 400,000 Cambodian tourists in January-April period, an increase of 41.6 percent against the same period last year.
