Hanoi, Oct. 3 -- The Government leader made the above remarks while chairing the Cabinet meeting with localities which was held in form of teleconference on Saturday.

The Vietnamese economy expanded by 9.95 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of this year, compared to 8.15 percent and 8.81 percent in the first and second quarters, respectively.

Overall, the economy grew 9.01 percent year-on-year during January-September, with industry-construction and services respectively accounting for 45 percent and 49.6 percent.
