Hanoi, Aug. 5 -- The move aims to help local residents to communicate more effectively with foreign visitors and official delegates to the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting while enhancing the quality of tourism workforce, said Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung.
The project will be implemented in two phases. The initial phase, scheduled from September 2026 to June 2027, English training courses will be organized on a pilot basis in 10-15 uppper secondary schools along with community-based classes in Duong Dong, Ganh Dau, An Thoi, and Duong To.
