October 15 designated as National Digital Citizen Day
Hanoi, July 15 -- Effective from August 15, 2026 to February 28, 2027, the Resolution sets out the principles for developing digital citizens, identifies beneficiaries of related policies, and defines their rights and responsibilities.
The Resolution also introduces preferential policies, expands the use of the national digital identity application (VNeID), and specifies the responsibilities of State agencies, organizations and providers of digital products and services.
Citizens are responsible for updating and integrating accurate personal information into their electronic identity accounts, and national and specialized databased.
