Hanoi, May 6 -- Vietnamese Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Trinh Thi Tam said the visit will reinforce political trust and identify concrete steps to elevate the bilateral ties.

It will also help boost collaboration in trade, investment, agriculture, technology, tourism, and logistics, while opening up new opportunities in innovation and energy transition.

The Ambassador underscored that the bilateral relations have grown steadily since the two countries established in 1970, underpinned by strong political trust, regular high-level exchanges, and mutual support at international forums.
