Hanoi, April 1 -- Stricter sanctions for violations of indoor mass EV (electric vehicles) charging stations
The Government issued Decree 69/2026/ND-CP amending and supplementing several articles of the Decree 106/2025/ND-CP, dated May 15, 2025 regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.
Accordingly, a fine from VND 40 million to VND 50 million (US$2,000) shall be imposed for: (i) not having a fire prevention solution for the electric charging area for a centralized electric motor vehicle in the house; (ii) not having a power system for fire prevention and fighting; (iii) maintaining a power source for fire prevention and fighting.
